Our church endowment fund is a gift that keeps on giving.

Our church endowment is an amount of money (fund) that is made up of gifts and bequests that are subject to a requirement that the principal (gift) be maintained intact and invested to create a continuing source of income for RGPC. The fund was created to remain intact and grow in perpetuity, rather than the funds being spent immediately. A portion (2/3) of the annual earnings is used to support church programs, education, mission and special purposes. The remainder of the earnings (1/3) is reinvested back into the fund’s principle to ensure that the endowment continues to grow and yield more interest in future years. A strong and growing endowment will help provide the highest quality in Christian education long into the future. Simply put, the church cannot survive on stewardship alone. Nor can it fully reach out to the diverse Christian population that RGPC wishes to educate by proclamation of the word. The stark reality is that financial need in ongoing operations sometimes does eliminate qualified programs, beneficial mission, Christian education, physical plant support and on and on.  To achieve its position of a steadfast circle of faith, family and friends, RGPC has enjoyed the continuing support of a widening circle of endowment donors who are members and friends of the church.  These donors believe that shaping disciples of competence and character, who are able to engage the culture in the word and deeds of God, results in a changed world.
